A Walk Through Pere Lachaise

Following spray painted arrows on concrete stones

A flower child spins in circles, creating tie dye swirls, looking up, dancing for the sky

A mosaic of flower petals fit neatly together on the ground where they fell

Smoke from burning incense floats, creating cloud formations at our knees

Hints of the past emerge, a resurrection of another time

But this moment soon blows away

The dance ends

Petals are swept with the wind

The smoke melts into the ground

And I continue on my way, following spray painted arrows, but not empty handed
